Carl Fredrik Sammeli

Carl Fredrik Sammeli is a serial entrepreneur, advisor and investor who believes that entrepreneurship is a force for good in the world. His most recent passions are the new micro-property development tech venture, Bitprop, in South Africa and his work for Aligro Planet Acquisition Company AB (publ) ("APAC”), a Swedish SPAC of American model. He founded Prime – now Prime Weber Shandwick – in 1998, the world's most awarded PR agency by Cannes Lions in the period 2010-2021. Carl Fredrik has 30 years of experience in entrepreneurship, business development, sales, strategy, public affairs, marketing, communication and crisis management. Prior to establishing Sammeli, Carl Fredrik founded, and on many occasions also chaired, a number of Sweden's most lauded companies within strategy, marketing, advertising and digital communication.

His entrepreneurial track record includes two failures and seven successful investments. His most successful business gave him 1200+ times return on invested capital. Today he starts new businesses and consults for leading firms within finance, business law, management, FMCG, real estate and technology in Africa and Europe. He works intensively with professional service firms, big corporates, early-stage entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses and investment companies. He is a member of the Ratio Institute with senior business leaders (The Ratio Institute is an independent research institute in Stockholm, Sweden). He is also a member of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Global Advisory Group.

He is a Swedish citizen, with family roots in Tornedalen right between Finland and Sweden but he lives in Cape Town with his wife, four kids, two dogs and a horse.
